Head Coach Announcement

The Queanbeyan Whites Rugby Union Club are excited to announce Tim Hawke as new 1st Grade Head Coach going into the 2023 season. Tim is a local Queanbeyan boy who joined the club as a junior in U/7s and continued to play for the club right through to U/18s where he then made his way through the senior pathways of Colts, Second Grade and First Grade winning multiple Grand Finals along the way.

Tim's Coaching career has seen him have successful stints at Junior Representative levels including Brumbies u/12s, U/15s and ACT Schoolboys, Tim has also Coached Queanbeyan Whites Colts, Second Grade and most recently was a part of the 2022 First Grade team that won the Premiership as assistant coach. Tim's dedication to getting better as a coach every week is something that stood out all year and he can't wait to get stuck into the planning for 2023.

"It’s a massive honor and privilege to be appointed the Head Coach role for 2023. 2022 was obviously a very successful season and I’m really looking forward to working hard and building on the successes of this year.
We’ve got a good mix of experienced and quality young players coming through so it’s an exciting time for the club".
