Player’s Spotlight - Tamika

Please meet Tamika AKA Black beauty, Meeksy and even Mika (pick a name already).

This season will be Tamika’s first with the Club.

She is playing rugby because she was born into a rugby family, she loves the aggression and been able to making new friends who turn into family.

Tamika is inspired by many people who have value or relevance in her life. One of her inspirations is boxer Manny Pacquiao. He has amazing skills in attack and defence showing his determination to use his body. This is what she strives to do when on the rugby field”Work hard play harder”

Tamika is proving to be an amazing role model for the girls coming up through our new women’s team. Her willingness to learn, train and lead the girls is a major credit to herself and we hope that she is proud.

She is a proud Aboriginal woman. My mobs are Wiradjuri, Ngunnawal, Pitjara, Bdjara, Gubbi Gubbi, Jininbra.

Tamika is the 7th sibling of 10 children. (Big family’s run in the Whites community)
