Queanbeyan whites rugby union club - AGM Update
The Queanbeyan Whites Rugby Union Club held its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday the 8th of December.
At the meeting, members were updated with progress of the Googong Sports Club and presented with the focus areas for the next 12 months that came through the development of a Strategic Plan for seasons 2022 to 2024 which will be available on the website soon. The regular President, Juniors, Treasurer and Head Coach’s reports were also delivered and accepted by the members present.
The meeting saw the election of committee members for the upcoming year which includes a new President following the decision of Mick Pini stepping down. The incoming committee would like to thank Mick for guiding the club over what has been an extremely difficult 2 years for everyone. Mick has also faced some challenges himself during this time and it is a credit to him on how he has lead the club and how he has left it for the incoming committee. We look forward to having Mick heavily involved in the club well into the future.
The committee is made up of all returning members of the previous committee with the exception of 100 club and 3-time first grade premiership player who joins the committee for the first time and we look forward to his contribution.
