Manteena join whites as women’s sponsor

 The Queanbeyan Whites Rugby Club announce Manteena as its major jersey sponsor of the Women’s Premier XV team.

The new three-year sponsorship deal will enable the Whites to develop their women’s rugby program, which has expanded in 2022 to include a girls u16 team.

“We are excited to have Manteena onboard with the Whites for the next 3 seasons,” said Queanbeyan Whites President Grant Jones.

“Manteena’s support will assist the club to establish our women’s rugby program which will in turn add to increase opportunities for women to progress along the rugby pathway from junior to senior competitions”.

The sponsorship reaffirms Manteena’s commitment and support for local community sporting groups and strongly aligns with Manteena’s values of diversity and inclusion.

“We are excited to be a sponsorship partner with the Queanbeyan Whites and particularly with the Premier Women’s XV”, said Manteena Group CEO Mark Bauer.

“Growing the game of rugby among women is in some respects similar to attracting women to a career in construction, which is traditionally male dominated. We hope this support provides a catalyst for women to enjoy a long and enjoyable rugby playing career with the Whites”.

Mark Bauer and Richard Harriss - Manteena Marketing Manager, were present on Saturday at David Campese Oval to present the jerseys to the Premier Women’s squad.

Manteena wishes the Women’s Premier XV and all other Queanbeyan Whites teams the very best success for the 2022 season.
